"Body": "I’ve been in the field for two hours now. In those two hours I’ve seen a deer and a Canadian goose like land on the ground and just hang out. It’s about 300 yards out just hanging out in the middle of the field it’s been there for probably the last hour. I’ve also seen two groundhogs. I took a shot at each one but now I’m starting to doubt my Zero or distance estimation ability because I missed both of them. And yes well I do have a crop damage permit for the deer I didn’t wanna take it today because it’s gonna be hot out. I don’t think I’ll have time to process it because I’ve hurt my back. Combine the back pain with it being hot and it just seems like it’s a bad idea today.",

I have a friend joining me this trip. Potentially two friends will be joining me. One of them has never seen an animal die. Shooting paper and steel is one thing but taking the life of an animal is another. I can't imagine the mental anguish the men/women of the armed services go thru to better the world.",

"Body": "New in the box... okay not really. its the 22 i grew up with and it's not for sale! <br /><br />To clarify, it's actually the rifle my DAD grew up with. When he was a kid my grandfather ended up beating a racoon with the rifle and broke the stock. They taped it in black electrical tape and there it was for the next 40 years. I learned how to shoot a rifle w/ that very rifle. Then my dad gave it to me.. when i was about 35 years old. It's in my collection of firearms. I wish the bolt still worked but i cant find a gunsmith that's willing to work on it to make it function again.",
